French artist Julien Guibreteau AKA Julien-G’s work plays with contradiction, seeking a cohesive way to deal with opposite forces: drawing vs color, narration vs abstraction, high culture vs low culture, spirituality vs humor. Like visual haikus where the sacred meets the trivial, his series function with humorous offset strategies.
